Hello! My name is Andrew Schmidt, owner and cartographer at Central Illinois Cartography LLC.

As a full-time social studies teacher, I know that clear visualizations are some of the most powerful tools we have for understanding the world around us. I founded this company to share my passion for visualizing data about our social and natural environments as a way to learn and make decisions. 

Here at Central Illinois Cartography, we specialize in transforming complex information into maps that drive community advocacy and data-informed decisions. Beyond data analysis, I believe a well-crafted map is a work of art. Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), we create stunning representations of landscapes and neighborhoods that can be a meaningful and unique addition to any collection.
